Missions
History surrounds citizens in their immediate environment, for example in the form of historic buildings, street names, traditions, customs and practices. These traces of the past are a source of information and pleasure, create economic value, form personal and collective identities, but not infrequently create divisions.
The Heritage and Public History Lab encourages applied reflection on the power of the past by organizing co-creative collaborations between (inter)national professionals in projects that connect education, research and the practice of heritage and public history.
